In this class you will learn:
- Safe alignment of the Yoga poses through precise instruction and guidance.
- Modifications of poses
- Benefits and contraindications
- Pranayama (science of breath)
- Various relaxation and concentration practices
The result of which is a practice that has ease, body and anatomical awareness, and that fosters self- acceptance.
Intermediate Level Yoga
The focus will be on expanding on the skills and practices learned in the Beg./Gentle class. We deepen the exploration of inversions, arm balances, backbends along with the practice of pranayama and meditation.
Fluidity & Energy
Vinyasa Flow Yoga I (Shiva Rea-style)
A multidimensional sequencing session using basic Sun Salutation as its primer. We then incorporate, standing poses, and twists in this meditative but dynamic flow. In VF, breath and concentration lead movement for a transformative and balancing practice aimed at creating an agile mind and body. Class will end with meditation and relaxation.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow II
The sequences are more challenging and are designed to increase upper body strength and stamina. We explore a variety of creative flows while maintaining integrity of the alignment. We end class with inversions, meditation and relaxation. (knowledge of basic Yoga poses alignment required).

Yoga for Women
A creative exploration of strengthening, energizing and restorative practices to cultivate respect and appreciation of our body while honoring each women’s rhythm, transition and self-expression. (prerequisite: Beg./Gentle Yoga)
Celebrate the joyful spirit of pregnancy by learning essential practices to achieve your optimal birthing experience and relieve common discomforts of pregnancy. Classes offer gentle poses and breathwork to cultivate health and calmness in both the mother and child. Feel nourished in a supportive community of mothers-to-be.
Restorative Yoga and Meditation
Warm up, breathe and stretch deeply to align, renew, balance and restore your overall well-being. Appease your central nervous system with these long-held restoring, supportive postures and then relax into the stillness meditation.
